Academic Tutor | All Levels of Schooling

Hello, my name is Lea-Ann. I am currently an MA student with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for education, mentorship, and helping students grow both academically and personally. I have experience tutoring students across different levels of schooling, from younger learners to secondary school and college students. I provide support in English, sciences, social sciences, humanities, arts, writing, homework support, exam preparation, research, and study organization. My approach focuses on building confidence, encouraging curiosity, and adapting learning methods to each student’s pace and needs. Alongside tutoring, I have participated in educational and humanitarian initiatives connected to NGOs, UNESCO-related programs, and youth development projects. I have also completed certifications connected to child protection, human rights, communication, and education through organizations such as UNICEF and the United Nations system. As a writer and researcher, I especially enjoy helping students improve their reading, writing, analytical thinking, communication, and critical thinking skills. I aim to create a calm, supportive, motivating, and positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in themselves. Outside of academics, I enjoy painting, literature, humanitarian work, and maintaining an active lifestyle through exercise. I am also very comfortable around animals and have experience caring for pets as well. Students and families often describe me as patient, caring, reliable, organized, approachable, and encouraging.
