Housekeeper with Occasional Childcare | Chêne-Bougeries

We are a family with two children, aged 4 and 7, looking for an experienced, reliable person. The main focus is housekeeping.

We also have a dog and two cats, so being comfortable with pets is important.

**Household duties**
- Cleaning and keeping the home organised.
- Laundry, care of children's clothes and minimal ironing.
- Preparing simple, healthy meals. We are mostly vegetarian; an interest in nutrition and healthy cooking is welcome.
- Pet care and occasional dog walks.

**Children**
Occasional childcare, park outings and help following routines. Activity drop-offs and pick-ups are on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Confident driving is a strong advantage.

Please encourage the children to do things themselves rather than doing everything for them, including tidying up, dressing and daily hygiene. Give them time and patient guidance, with help when needed, especially for our younger child.

**Working approach**
I really value a clean, well-organised home and someone who works carefully and notices the little details.

Clear written instructions will be provided and should be read and followed consistently. I need someone who plans and manages daily tasks independently, reducing my involvement in household management. Respect for my quiet and personal space is important. We can find a comfortable way to communicate questions and updates.

**Languages**
We speak English, not French. The children are learning French but understand little. A French-speaking caregiver is welcome if you can confidently manage their care. For household duties, we can find a workable way to communicate instructions.

**Approximate weekly hours**
Household: 20–25 | Childcare: 10–15 | Both: 30–40.

Ideally, I'd prefer one person for both, but candidates interested in part of the role are welcome. Hours and schedule can be discussed together.
